Darvill Racing SV650

So here we go again…..

We are returning to more modern racing in 2011, this time with a Suzuki SV650 Minitwin.

Why..?

Both Chris and Rob have had considerable sucsess on these machines so i have decided to build another for them to use. In addition to getting them ‘Race Fit’ it will enable Darvill Racing to reach a wider audience, generate television publicity and ensure that we can deliver the maximum ROO (Return on Objective) for our Sponsors.

There is a secondary reason for choosing this route, we are developing a plan to start a sister company called The Darvill Foundation…. but more of that later..!

So, here is the donor machine, it currently has a 700cc Thunderbike engine, GSXR front end (running RaceTech forks modified by PDQ), engine tuned by JHS and with a plethora of ‘trick’ parts.

This engine will be refurbished and then placed into Vacuum-packing for another time…. then we have two donor standard SV650 engines, we will be making a highly-tuned naturally aspirated 650cc and use this in two Championships for maximum exposure.

She has had a few trips across the tarmac, but this is cosmetic only, Rob (and the PDQ Team) will work their magic and when she exits from those magical PDQ doors, shod in Darvill Racing colours she is not only going to turn-heads but we are going to do it with style…!!!
