The celebratory lap, which forms part of the week long VMCC Isle of Man section’s Manx Rally, takes place on Friday August 31, immediately after the Senior Manx Grand Prix. There are still a few entries available for the Manx Rally, which involves runs on some of the Island’s most scenic routes, social events and the Festival of Jurby.

The VMCC Festival of Jurby, which has just attracted a sponsorship deal with motorcycle parts supplier WEMOTO, takes place on Sunday August 26, and gives riders of vintage and classic bikes a chance to parade their machines on the Jurby race track. Now in its third year, the Festival has quickly established itself as one of the key highlights of the Manx Grand Prix Festival and attracted over 14,000 spectators last year, the largest crowd for a one day event on the Island.

Many former TT and Manx GP riders will be in action at the Festival, including Sammy Miller, who will be demonstrating his Moto Guzzi V8 and v-twin and the Manx-based Peter Darvill Collection of endurance racers will also get an airing.
